CCRS American Admiral is a rare POLLED son of the none other than Solway Adonis.  Purchased as an embryo from JB Livestock, Jason Bruketa, Calgary, AB, Admiral developed into a very impressive herdsire.  His dam JB CDN Antebellum 1437 is a mainstay in the elite donor program at JB Livestock.  She is a very powerful polled cow by JB CDN Wind Walker who finished his career at Parview Farms.  Outcross polled source through EDN Puma (Emil) sets Admiral into a new category of modern Fleckvieh genetics combined with old school influence.  Antebellum has sons working in numerous herds in Canada and the US; JB CDN Ulrich [Lone Stone Farms, AB], JB CDN Durango [KSL Simmentals, AB], JB CDN Sarcee [Starwest Farms, AB], and full brother FLC James Bond [Ford Land and Cattle].  American Admiral is deceased but his influence will be an important part of the CCRS Fleckvieh program though AI.
